MEET THE TEAM
Christine created strategies for the Center’s match event programs that enhance the potential for relationship building between older youth and attending families. She created an activity for these events, Everyone Has a Voice, providing youth with the unique opportunity to express their hopes and dreams for the future. This activity has expanded to include the family voices so the youth attending these events can learn more about them. Christine is focused on evidence based outcomes for the programs of the Center. She stresses the importance of evidence based outcomes for all funding, whether from foundations or the Center's partners in the region. Of additional importance to her is feedback from the youth served, their case managers, and all prospective adoptive or foster parents. All these will drive the work of the Adoption Center under her leadership. The Center's vision: A loving family for every child in foster care is at the core of her work at the Adoption Center. Christine holds a BA in Psychology and is an adoptive parent.
Alexandra has more than 15 years of experience in the adoption field, 13 of which have been with the Center. She loves spreading the word about the children in care far and wide. She leads and manages all of the Center’s web-based initiatives. Alexandra holds a BS in physics from the University of Rhode Island, an MS in communications from Drexel University and an MBA in sustainable business from Green Mountain College.
