When you are with Samir, you will see his teachers, staff and peers always stopping by to greet and hug him. Samir shares that he enjoys bicycling, volleyball, basketball, and football. He also enjoys playing video games, especially Spider Man. He also loves group get-togethers, dancing, family parties and picnics. Samir roots for the Golden State Warriors and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loves comfortable shoes and sweats, and especially Nike and Jordan sneakers. Samir shares that what really matters to him is to love and be loved by a family that “won’t change their minds”. He hopes for at least one parent that will stick up for him and stick with him. Samir would like to live somewhere that he can be a “regular kid with a bicycle and friends.” When asked what he wants out of life, Samir shares that he wants to be successful and to be loved. Several times he shared, "What I really want is someone to love me." Samir has a close and loving bond with his older brother, and would like to have continued contact and visits with him post-adoption.
